Book

    1)  I'm choosing The Book of Questions, it is written by Pablo Neruda.  I selected this book because a friend of mine pointed out his name. He said that another friend of ours always talks about him, so I did a little research and came across this book.

     2) Change of plans after consulting with Kim,  a decision was made that Pablo Neruda's, The Book of Questions is not the right choice for this assignment. The book consists of approximately 150 short poems, making it almost impossible to follow the directions for this project. The book Kim strongly recommended for me to read for this assignment is Just Kids, written by Patti Smith.
     3) Summary for each chapter
*Foreword- The experience when finding out about Robert Mapplethorpe's Death, her thoughts, emotions and feelings that immersed from the heartbreaking news.
*Just Kids- Patti and Robert meet and soon to become lovers as they witness and learn many positive and negative lessons impacts their innocence little by little. A great deal of obstacles and endorsements arose forcing them to mature quickly, having to fend for self.
*Hotel Chelsea-"Tremendous stroke of luck" Acquiring  a sense of security along with a stellar education  although not everything was affirmative, like Robert's sexuality becoming more notable. Opportunities and Inspiration heightened, engaged with all the right people.
*Separate Ways Together- Patti and Robert moved out the Chelsea Hotel, after being separated  their life began to flourish and penetrate the high and mighty society. I would say they both by far surmounted their dreams, desires, and virtuality everything that they sought
*Holding Hands with God- Robert received bad news Patties biggest fear that he and his partner Sam had been diagnosed with AIDS, leaving a helpless preconceived awareness of the outcome.  Only leaving behind the powerful connection and love for each other with a deep compassion, and mutual sense of irony as he was carrying death, and she carrying life as for what they have will never die.

Book Review on Just Kids
The book Just Kids by Patti Smith is a book that touches the soul, and by far the best book i've ever read. I can not express how much the life story between Patti Smith and Robert Maplethorp relates to the beginning of my own presents. The inspirational value from the book changed the way I view everything around, shining a whole new light upon the different experiences that occur .
